Episodes uprising Soviet POWs captured the island in Normandy and destroyed German fortifications, and battle scenes are delivered with impressive sweep. film gives a group portrait of participants in the uprising and the French Resistance fighters squad. In the foreground - the leaders of the underground group Zakharov and Commissioner Colonel Karpov, Nikolai Kryuchkov played interesting and Vsevolod Safonov.
